Notes
- To say ‘every day’ for a weekday or Saturday, use the definite article ‘il’.
- For example, ‘il lunedi’ for every Monday; ‘il sabato’ for every Saturday.
- To say ‘every Sunday’ use ‘la dominica.’
- When the day of the week is used without an article, it means ‘next’.
- Il lunedi viaggio. I travel on Mondays.
- Lunedi non viaggio. Next Monday I will not travel.
- There is no capitalization for the days of the week

Notes
- The order for dates in Italian is day, month, year (giorno, mesi, anno)
- Only the first day of the month uses an ordinal number ‘primo’ (first). The rest use cardinal numbers.
- Oggi è il 1 (primo) febbraio. Today is the first of February.
- Domani è il 7 (sette) agosto. Tomorrow is August 7th.
